Our client is looking a Legal counsel with some Gas/LNG trade experience to join their legal team. This role provides legal and compliance advisory support across Singapore and Southeast Asia. You will work on exciting energy sector projects, particularly in renewable energy, and collaborate with business stakeholders to achieve corporate goals. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (utilities, power purchase, EPC, natural gas), advising on natural gas contracts, project financing, M&A, and handling pre-litigation disputes.
Requirements:
- Law degree with 8-10 years PQE, admitted to practice in Singapore or the UK and has experience in the energy industry, especially in renewable projects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive team player attitude, capable of working independently and quickly understanding various businesses.
