The Role:

We are supporting a project firm for a specialist Employment & HR Counsel to oversee the full spectrum of human resources and employment-related legal functions. 

This role plays a critical part in shaping HR strategy, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labour regulations, managing legal risks, and strengthening organisational capability.
The position covers a wide range of responsibilities, including workforce planning, talent management, contract review, employee relations, corporate compliance, and industrial relations. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise across both HR and legal domains, particularly within industrial, manufacturing, or project-based environments. This is a strategic leadership role suited for a seasoned professional who can partner with the business, advise on legal matters, and elevate overall HR governance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, HR, Business, or related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of combined HR and legal experience, with strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and compliance.
  • Proven ability to draft/review contracts, advise on employment matters, and manage regulatory obligations.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure sectors preferred; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English for internal & external communications and engagement.
