The Role:
My client is a fast-growing company in the offshore sector. They have a newly created role, seeking a highly experienced Corporate lawyer to join them. You will advise the management on various legal matters related to their business operations, corporate governance, compliance, and transactions. Provide legal advice and support to the management and board of directors on matters such as contracts, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, corporate governance, risk management, and intellectual property. You will also be the eventual Company Secretary.

Requirements:
  • Law degree from an accredited law school and admitted to the Bar with min 8-12 PQE with corporate and securities experience
  • Sound knowledge of corporate law, securities regulation, contract law, intellectual property law, and data privacy law.
  • Experience drafting a range of contracts/agreements to regulators, investors and business stakeholders
  • Manage external law firms, managing vendors across timezones.
