Our client a leading NSW Government Department are looking for an Open Data Platform & Community Manager for join their team on a 12 month contract with potential for extension.
The role is responsible for improvements, upgrades and ongoing content management of the TfNSW Open Data Hub and API Gateway. Including management of third-party technology and services providers and supporting the community of registered Open Data Hub users via online collaboration tools and social media channels.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor, manage and deliver a consistent and aligned digital presence for the Organisations Open Data Program
- Provide operational support for the Open Data Hub working closely with the third-party support and maintenance provider
- Provide support to Open Data Hub users responding to customer questions about existing published data sets and website functionality
- Providing high quality, accurate, timely, relevant, accessible, and reliable transport information to both internal and external users via the Open Data Platform and API Gateway
- Develop and deliver the Open Data Platform roadmap aligned to Open Data Program priorities.
- Responsible for providing direction and oversight on digital experience for the Open Data Hub in alignment with NSW Government and the Organisation’s policies for digital assets and social media.
- Lead the development and utilisation of analytics using reporting systems and processes to measure site performance and customer outcomes.
- Manage the relationship with the third-party software, platform management and support services providers.
- Provide technical expertise and input on improvements and upgrades to existing systems.
Key Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrated HTML Publishing Skills 5 plus years’ experience in website design, build and operations
- Demonstrated experience with geospatial and transport data
