Our client, a leading Government agency, are actively seeking multiple SQL developers to join them on their digital transformation journey.  Your contribution will help enable and deliver exceptional digital experiences for their customers, the people and businesses of NSW.
As a Senior or Principal Software Engineer, you’ll work within a dedicated, multi-disciplinary product team delivering and maintaining customer focused products and solutions, applying an Agile delivery methodology within a DevOps culture-driven environment.
This role will see you implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving numerous products. You’ll work with multiple NSW Government agencies to deliver new, digitally uplifted experiences for both customers and the regulators who serve them. The underlying platform leverages configuration, integration as well as SQL capabilities to improve customer and user experiences.

Essential skills: 

  • Extensive experience in leading and executing COTS based implementations of CRM or Case Management systems
  • Advanced experience with SQL queries, SQL programming (database procedures/functions), database development (Microsoft SQL Server critical; Oracle beneficial)
  • Experience in configuration, development and implementation of case management software (i.e. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Siebel etc.) for regulatory requirements will be considered a strong asset
  • Advanced analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills are essential
  • A good understanding of CI/CD methodology and working within a DevOps culture driven environment
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, Business Intelligence tools like Yellowfin BI is an advantage
  • Knowledge of software architecture patterns and practices such as MVC, MVVM, Asynchronous Programming, Stateless Programming
  • Review and creation of technical specifications, integration, and design artefacts
