The Senior Product Manager is a part of a product delivery team for a specific product group (Content at Scale and Engagement). In this role the Senior Product Manager works with a high level of autonomy and discretion in the best end to end experience design by collaborating multiple different technical product teams and functional areas such as Digital Marketing, Sales, and ABO Success. 
 
Responsibilities:

Develops User-centric product experience and platforms through collaboration with cross-functional teams (product groups) within technology organization and business functions, including:  
  • Full product life-cycle
  • Define the product vision, and develop a comprehensive product strategy
  • Articulating the vision of the product and creating a product roadmap.
  • Sharing the vision with and motivating the broader cross-functional team.
  • Talking to business stakeholders, researching user needs, and conducting competitor and market analysis to understand key drivers for the product.
  • Work with all stakeholders appropriate to the product area to understand problems, desired outcomes and craft a solution.
  • Participate in translating the product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes.
  • Define the key objectives and results of the product and ensure the measurements are in place.
  • Liaising across the business to ensure the product’s vision and development are achievable and has broad buy-in across the organization.
  • Works directly with the scrum team(s) to prioritize with engineers on the delivery plan and to deliver a quality product launch or enhancement quickly, frequently and predictably.
  • Collaborating with the cross-functional team to ensure the product is user-centric while meeting business needs.
  • Managing the product roadmap and ensuring a groomed, prioritized backlog.
  • Managing the product during its lifecycle, ensuring the product is performing at its peak capability through enhancements and fixes.
  • Engage with users in markets and other business functions to deliver roadmap updates, get product feedback, and identify additional challenges and opportunities.
  • This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports for now.
 
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Related Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Digital Technologies, or Software Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of related experience

Understanding of Biz. Strategy & Plans
  • Experience in business strategy and business engagement, or building teach. Support plan aligning with Biz. strategy & plans.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional clients & multiple business disciplines.
  • Proven ability to leads complex products and manage complex programs.
  • Good analytic and business modeling skills. 

Communication

  • Clear written and oral English language communication to larger and higher stakes audiences. Includes: writing clear emails, communicating clearly in person, writing, and providing presentations.

Collaboration

  • Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration within and across multiple teams, functions, departments, and levels.
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with both technical and business partners.
  • Ability to align with program roadmap, plans, and governance.

Technical

  • Strong understanding of technology language and use of applications in business.
  • Ability to use Product Management and partner function (Engineering, Design) tools to partner well across the team.
  • Ability to partner with IT and application development technology staffs. 
 
Execution
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple/competing tasks and assignments
  • Attention to detail with an ability to meet tight timelines.
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle, governance, etc.
  • Rich working experience using agile methodologies, industry standards and best practices
  • 5 years of experience translating business strategy into specific product features/experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience working with technology and user experience teams to define, scope, and prioritize product requirements.
  • 7 years of demonstrated delivery of business results.
  • 5 years of experience in an agile software environment.
  • Experience collaborating closely with senior analyst or product manager, scrum delivery team.
  • Strong partnering and teaming skills with both global affiliate counterparts and cross functional departments and markets.
