Your skills and experience
  • The candidate will be the Scrum Master (SCRUM/LeSS) for the team, leading the activities of grooming and maintaining the product backlog with an emphasis on soft skills and meeting facilitation, driving open points to resolution rather than on technical skills
  • Experience writing user stories and driving backlog grooming conversations with business, Product Owner and the Scrum team
  • Experienced in writing Definition of Done and Definition of Ready checklists and enforcing them
  • Excellent communication skills that will allow you to represent GFT within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the client
  • Contribute towards release planning and release signoffs
  • Adhere to organizational methodologies, guidelines and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate as well as facilitating discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution across squads
  • Possess strong problem solving, conceptual thinking and analytical skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritize accordingly based on a can-do' attitude
  • Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills in dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Resilient person able to stand their ground
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and can have the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • 5+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience managing Agile software delivery as a Scrum Master / Technical BA or similar roles
  • PMI-ACP or an equivalent Agile (SCRUM, LeSS) certification would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Familiar with JIRA/Confluence dashboards, boards configuration, burndown and similar reports and tools
  • Retail Banking or similar financial experience would be a significant advantage
  • Technical background is nice to have
  • Ability to work independently with direct exposure to senior stakeholders
  • Fluent English (business and technical) as this is the clients' primary business language
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related.
