We are partnering with a Global Financial Services organisation who are looking to hire a Regional Network Lead.
 

Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide expert network consultancy for diverse lines of business to meet evolving technical network needs.
  • Ensure the continuous maintenance and reliability of the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Offer comprehensive operational support for network-related challenges across the APAC region and globally.
  • Lead the design and implementation of network upgrades, changes, and security enhancements.
  • Collaborate in procuring network equipment and effectively manage vendor relationships.
  • Regularly report network status and performance to key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including weekends when necessary, with overtime compensation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, including FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, and MAS.
  • Adhere to the established operational risk framework and maintain compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Serve as a role model for maintaining the highest levels of integrity and conduct, reflecting the company's core values.
  • Uphold and adhere to the FCA's Code of Conduct and internal policies, reporting policy breaches when necessary.
  • Promptly escalate and respond to risk events.
  • Provide valuable insights and input to risk management processes as required.
 

Requirements:
 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management, capable of overseeing projects from inception to successful delivery.
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Display resilience and curiosity while excelling in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
  • Ability to shoulder a high level of responsibility within a fast-paced, high-volume context.
  • Exceptional skills in relationship-building, networking, and the art of influence.
  • Strategic collaborator with the ability to anticipate and address future challenges, ensuring operational effectiveness.
  • Ideally, possess certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIS, PCNSE, or equivalent.
  • Expertise in network technologies, including MPLS, IPSEC VPN, SD-WAN, QOS, and NAT.
  • Proficiency in advanced security measures, including NextGen Layer 7 firewalling, User-ID, SSL decryption, Network Access Control, and Radius/TACACS.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking in AWS and Azure, involving VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connects, VPN Gateways, and more.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for IP network packets, LAN and WAN network devices, and firewall security.
  • Familiarity with leading network vendors, including Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Aruba.
  • Experience with various hardware platforms, such as PA220, 440, 3200 series firewalls, Cisco 9200/9300/4500, Cisco Nexus 9k, Juniper SRX, MX series firewalls and routers, Arista 7k series, and Aruba Access points, and Clearpass NAC.
