My Client is an established Asia-centric renewables, project development firm. Clear focus on development, operation and ownership of solar, wind energy projects. They are seeking to hire an experienced senior projects counsel as Director to support the business due to market expansion and promising outlook on the renewables projects front.

The Role

You will:
  • Have at least 10 PQE, SG or Common law qualified with experience in the energy/renewables sector (with, ideally, part of this experience in a law firm. Possesses Geographic experience in any of the following: Japan, Korea, The Philippines, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Vietnam or Singapore
  • Experience drafting and negotiating development/M&A/project finance transactions specifically in renewable energy
  • Drafting and negotiating JV, Partnerships, Shareholder Agreements, EPC, O&M, PPAs, NDAs, Procurement, Development Services, Term Sheets etc. for renewable energy plants
  • Experience in Project Financing, PPAs or Construction and Maintenance Contracts
  • Regional legal support for litigation or claim management in relation to projects
