The Role:

Our client, a leading European MNC, is a market leader in its space.
 
This is a leadership role for the Singapore office, where Singapore is the second largest hub outside of the Global HQ. Matric reporting structure to Regional Counsel and Country Head.  You will serve as the key point of contact for all Singapore legal matters. 

Requirements:
  • Degree in Law, SG Bar Admission with at least 8-10 PQE
  • FEED, EPC, JV, Share purchase agreements, Corporate, Claims and Project Finance
  • Corporate Governance (Code of conduct, anti trust, data protection, trade sanctions, insurance); provide Corporate secretarial support
  • Manage all dispute management in Singapore from claims, litigation, mediation and arbitration and employment matters. Shipping experience a good to have
  • Commercially pragmatic with good logical judgement. Team player to work well in an agile and collaborative environment
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and analytical skills

 
Candidates with experience handling disputes in the areas of shipping, construction, oil & gas and or procurement will be viewed upon favourably.
This is also a great role for commercial disputes lawyers looking to leave practice and transit in-house role, or for a candidate presently inhouse keen to step up into a leadership role.
