Company is a Technology consulting and solutions provider that sells across Commercial and Public Sector clients. They provide consulting and end to end solutioning services in the domains of, artificial intelligence, cloud & DevOps, data & analytics, innovation, and solution development. The company in their growth stage, looking to increase their headcount by 2x in the coming year. The Business Development Manager is a newly created role to help the firm in developing their Commercial business.

Job Description:

  • Possess a deep knowledge of the most recent technological trends and the business requirements of clients, enabling effective collaboration internally and externally to develop the best fit solution leading to contract closure.
  • Plan, identify, prospect, qualify a pipeline of prospective clients to drive revenue growth through proactive selling, client referrals and networking.
  • Cultivate, build, and manage relationships at all levels with clients.
  • Drafting of detailed and compelling proposals. 
  • Collaborate with the technical teams to ensure that the proposed solution aligns with client needs and expectations.
  • Develop value propositions and negotiate successfully to close deals.
  • Meet sales quota through identifying and gaining business from new and existing clients and ensuring customer’s satisfaction through the services provided.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and networking events to promote company’s services and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Regularly report on business development activities, wins, and challenges to the leadership team.

Job Description:

  • At least 8 years of overall experience including 5 years in selling IT Services & Consulting solutions to Commercial clients
  • Experienced selling solutions with more than $1mil in deal size
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, with strong connections in the relevant sector.
  • Experience with legal contractual terms and conditions, contract review, contract negotiations and contract/risk management.
  • A goal-oriented self-starter with strong consultative instincts and skills.
  • Passionate and curious in technology, emerging trends, and innovation.
  • Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Creativity and imagination, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Attention to details with good organizational skills.
