Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and support for in house application, both enhancement and production support
  • Fully participate in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including documentations.
  • Liaise and follow up with user & external customer for requirement gathering and production support
  • Work closely with SME experts in various areas of the business gaining an understanding of their processes
  • Provide innovative solutions to complex business problems
  • Design, develop and implement new integration
  • Explore and evaluate new technologies and providing recommendations for continuous improvement to the systems and business processes

Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electronic or Information Technology or relevant discipline with at least 1-2 years similar hands-on working experience in application development. 
  • Ability to write accurate specifications / requirement documents
  • Strong technical skills in JAVA, JavaScript, Oracle Database & SQL
  • Good experience in UNIX/Linux scripting. E.g. Shell scripting, AWK, CSH & etc.
  • Knowledge of the following will be added advantage:
  • other programming language, e.g. C, Python & etc
  • Mirth Connect or other ETL platform
  • ULTRA® Laboratory System
  • Accell 4GL enhancements and fault correction
  • NET/ASP.NET
  • Understanding of laboratory business and previous experience in the healthcare industry or medical laboratory will be added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimum supervision
  • Process good learning and working attitude with initiative.
