A leading global CRO is looking to expand its Business Development team in Taiwan. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BD professional who excels in client engagement, proposal development, and cross-functional coordination within the CRO/pharmaceutical industry.

This is an opportunity to join a global, fast-growing organisation and play a critical part in driving commercial growth across Asia-Pacific. You’ll work with international teams, gain exposure to diverse clients, and contribute to meaningful clinical development programs.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind new business opportunities in the region. You’ll lead RFP/RFI development, craft competitive proposals, support budgeting and pricing activities, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across operations, legal, finance and senior leadership.
Your contributions will directly support the organisation’s mission to deliver high-quality, customer-centric clinical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Achieve new business targets through proactive client outreach and relationship building
✔ Lead the development of RFPs/RFIs and proposal packages, ensuring accuracy and compelling content
✔ Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop competitive budgets, service scopes and pricing
✔ Request and evaluate vendor quotations to support proposal development
✔ Manage timelines and ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality commercial documents
✔ Support bid defence meetings, client presentations and project handovers
✔ Maintain accurate document filing and opportunity tracking using internal systems
✔ Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders

To be shortlisted for the role, you would ideally come with the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, Finance or related fields
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in CRO, pharma or related industries
• Strong background in proposals, business development, or marketing
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail
• Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Mature, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
