My client is a leading financial institution seeking a Vice President to join their Treasury team, reporting directly to the Head of Treasury. This role will focus on managing the markets side of treasury operations with an emphasis on active risk management and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a portfolio of liquid, high-quality assets with a focus on liquidity management and yield enhancement.
  • Take ownership of market risk and FX open positions, managing exposures in accordance with the firm’s risk policies.
  • Execute treasury trades across money markets, FX, and capital markets.
  • Identify and evaluate yield enhancement opportunities within approved risk parameters.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support global markets requirements and treasury funding strategies.
  • Manage relationships with core banking partners and external counterparties.
  • Support treasury reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor counterparty risk, liquidity ratios, and financial exposures to ensure compliance.
  • Recommend and implement hedging solutions where appropriate.
  • Drive process improvements and support treasury system implementation and workflow enhancements.

Ideal Candidacy
  • Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in treasury markets trading within a large corporate or financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income, FX, and interest rate markets.
  • Proven ability in market risk management and trade execution.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams.
  • Familiarity with loan and capital market documentation negotiation is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg or equivalent market analysis tools.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
