A reputable regional bank is seeking a senior coverage banker to drive corporate client growth with a strong focus on the China–ASEAN trade corridor. The role centres on expanding regional relationships, originating strategic financing opportunities, and delivering integrated solutions across trade, lending, and treasury.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead client acquisition and deepen relationships with regional and China-linked corporates engaged in cross-border trade and investment.
  • Originate and structure bespoke financing and trade solutions, working closely with product teams across the region.
  • Drive revenue growth through disciplined account planning, proactive pipeline development, and strong portfolio oversight.
  • Provide clear credit insights, support credit approvals, and ensure high-quality execution across deals and onboarding.
  • Maintain strong market awareness to identify new opportunities and advise clients on emerging trends along the China corridor.

Requirements
  • 12+ years’ experience in corporate or investment banking, with solid trade finance knowledge.
  • Proven track record originating and executing corporate banking deals across ASEAN.
  • Strong senior-level corporate relationships, ideally including both international and Chinese clients.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, credit skills, and ability to navigate cross-border environments.
