Because of the nature of the work (controls testing/assurance) you will likely be an ex big 4 consultant within risk advisory or audit, an auditor or a line 1 risk professional with a background (or strong interest) within financial markets.

The culture is excellent - relaxed dress codes, lunch provided, lots of staff wellbeing initiatives and market leading salary and bonus potential.

  • Contribute to APAC's control assurance activities.
  • Promote a collaborative yet challenging risk dialogue, driving a risk first culture to mature our risk identification and control.
  • Assist with the reporting and investigation of risk incidents, ensuring, in partnership with risk owners, that those beyond accepted risk appetite are sufficiently escalated and remediated.
  • Contribute to ORM's advisory capability, focusing on risk management practices across the departments.
Experience
  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-4 years of experience in ORM, audit or risk management.
Skills
  • Solve complex problems in a pragmatic and simple way with a strong focus on internal controls.
  • Analytical skills, precision of thought.

  • Passion for financial markets and risk management.
  • High performance behaviours, including Focus on business impact.
  • Drive.
  • Initiative.
  • A critical and challenging mindset, comfortable going against the status quo to reach improved outcomes.
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn.
  • Strong desire to keep learning and to grow within the role.
  • Resilience.
  • Collaboration.
  • Influencing change.
  • Reflective/Self-aware
