Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the leadership team and founding member of the Hong Kong office. As a pivotal member of the Hong Kong office, you will oversee various IT functions for the Hong Kong business.

System Management, Support and Collaboration
  • Lead the development, training, and collaboration efforts with the Sys-Ops team regarding all aspects of Hong Kong system support.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among internal business units, institutional clients, executing brokers, content/data providers, and exchanges to ensure seamless operations.
  • Deliver training sessions to business units on both existing and newly developed system functionalities.
  • Oversee the management of production and user acceptance testing (UAT) systems for across business units.
  • Ensure robust access controls for production systems and protect data from unauthorized access or duplication.

Release Management and Quality Assurance
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst and development teams to ensure that all new software releases are thoroughly tested and deployed promptly.
  • Partner with development teams to implement automated testing and system monitoring processes aimed at achieving a defect-free operation.
  • Keep comprehensive documentation of the systems and software versions utilized in both production and UAT environments.
 
Integrated Information Security and Compliance Management with HKMA Regulations
  • Address and remediate technical vulnerabilities and incidents, coordinating with the Information Security team, while ensuring compliance with HKMA regulations through regular risk assessments.
  • Manage IT audits and regulatory compliance processes, ensuring systems and IT processes meet HKMA certification and accreditation requirements.
  • Establish and maintain operational disaster recovery sites, integrating service continuity with system operations in accordance with HKMA guidelines.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining support systems and documentation for Production, Disaster Recovery, and UAT systems, ensuring alignment with HKMA regulatory standards.
 
Requirements
  • Demonstrated 5+ experience in IT management, production oversight etc.
  • Strong background in fintech /  brokerage / neo banks and digital banking platforms
  • Passion for fintech products and industry, with a desire to build a career in this sector
  • Ability to excel in a startup-like atmosphere, working independently while collaborating with a global team; as well as ready to contribute as a pivotal member in the office
