We are managing the recruitment of a newly created Head of Information Security Operations role, where the individual will take up the strategic leadership of two cyber security operational and engineering teams, with a focus on Prevention, Detection, Response and Assurance.
 
Working directly for one of the most revered organisations in their industry, our client is embarking on a positive period of change and innovation across the Information Security Office, and are looking to employ a new Head of Information Security Operations to take a lead role in driving the improvement of the organisations information security posture.
 
This Director level role will see you work alongside a forward thinking and supportive CISO that is looking for a senior leader that is able oversee the evolution of technical and operational security platforms, the delivery of the technical aspects of the Information Security Strategy, and the development of a mature operations command centre.
 
You will also help in bridging the gap and conversation between the information security team and the rest of the organisation to better promote the services and value they offer.
 
We’re ideally looking for a strong blend of the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in developing and leading information security operations and a proven understanding of security technology and the emerging threat landscape.
  • Demonstrated deep technical knowledge of information security operations, information technology trends, programs, systems, and platforms.
  • Demonstrated high level of achievement and management experience at a senior level in a complex organisation and service delivery environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated high level experience and proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders by positively engaging, communicating, influencing and negotiating to enable durable and collaborative relationships of trust to deliver results.
  • A demonstrated ability to take innovative approaches leading to process improvement and the achievement of strategic goals.
