An opportunity has come up with one of Singapore’s leading food providers, we are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join their team. This is a brand new position, looking to hire someone who has extensive years of experience who will oversee all areas of Accounting, Reporting, Internal Control, FP&A and more.


Some responsibilities are listed below but not limited to:
  • Providing support to business performance and growth from a financial control perspective
  • Ensure financial reporting and practices are in line with statutory law and corporate control procedures.
  • Adherence to local GAAP and local statutory accounting standards, delegated authority matrix and various policies and assess control risk as necessary.
  • Perform local treasury transactions - cash management and forecasting review.
  • Manage the monthly forecast and variance analysis and be a trusted advisor that applies sound judgment to make recommendations to help mitigate variances and risk to achieve financial targets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of the tax returns through proper supervision and review.
  • Maintain effective internal control system and liaise well with external and internal auditors on improvement of internal control procedures.
  • Ensure the consistency of financial processes and procedures, and continuously optimizes to gain efficiency.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when required


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, must have ACCA/CMA/CPA along with 10+ years experience.
