Responsibilities would include: 
  • Involved in acquisition and disposition of companies or banks/ businesses, product or customer capabilities and portfolios to strengthen the core franchise of the bank
  • Management of portfolio of strategic equity investments and divestments
  • Strategic investments, alliances and joint ventures
  • Transaction execution including evaluation and preliminary assessment, process/project management, negotiation, signing and internal approval
  • Work with Regional CEOs and Global Business CEOs to identify opportunities to initiate or exit corporate investments, managing corporate investments on an ongoing basis
  • Evaluate the performance of the bank against its strategic ambitions, own financial framework and market expectations
 
Profile of Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 1-6 years of corporate finance experience / skill set in structuring, negotiation and tactics (open to generalists or in-house banking M&A teams or related corporates)
  • Proven deal execution experience, able to do financial analyses and valuation models
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player, family culture
  • Good interpersonal skills, stakeholder management skills to deal with all business segments and product teams, regional and country management
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision 
  • Positive personality, presentable, with strong work ethics
