Scope - The candidate will be working closely with the business to devise strategies for digitizing internal & external projects. Seeking a curious mind and a proactive personality to take up new challenges and come up with innovative ideas.  You will work closely with the business units (BUs) to drive relationship-based consultative approach to enhance the businesses with digital solutions and spearhead projects. Leverage my client’s extensive knowledge base/business networks and bring distinctive insights and new ideas to drive DX projects

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deeply understand the individual businesses, pain points, recommend solutions and build the business together with continual client discussions, technical consulting skills along with excellent business acumen.
  • Develop short-term and long-term strategy in support of growth and revenue targets upon investment; Communicate various options, articulate quick wins, and tactics to realize immediate benefits of DX for the respective business/service.
  • Develop tech roadmap for business transformation with strong digital mindset and working with technology partners
  • Understand adequate depth and breadth of emerging technologies - such as Machine/Deep Learning and Blockchain - in the market and propose benefits, trade-offs and implementation strategies to the business stakeholders.
  • Build innovative consumer-centric service models and revenue models with the proposed DX ideas for the respective businesses.
  • Communicate and closely work with DX team and share the visions and directions while develop new business models and/or enhance operational processes for retail assets
  • Continuously stay curious and up to date with the market trends/evolving tech to propose solutions for various Mitsui’s businesses across different domains
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or related degrees
  • 3 -5 years of successful track record in consultancy or Digital Transformation (DX) experience in high growth areas such as renewables, healthcare, food protein/nutrition, Agritech , mobility and consumer platforms.
  • Team management experience is good to have
  • Ability to inspire and promote an entrepreneurial spirit of resourcefulness and adaptability across the organization while portraying a professional image.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical language. Be able to articulate and passionately present digital concepts to stakeholders.
  • Able to travel overseas up to 25-30% of the time (under VTL/normal conditions)
  • Open to global opportunities
  • Fluent in English – excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong social skills, resourceful and proactive team player with excellent analytical, logical and abstract reasoning skills
Preferably:
  • Experience in data science, analytics strategy development and/or data analytics execution
  • Experience in working with cutting edge tech
  • Strong interest in diverse industry segments
  • PMP and/or SCRUM certified
