Overview:

A large enterprise IT environment is seeking a Senior / Manager-level IT Business Analyst to support finance and ERP platforms, transformation initiatives, and BAU operations. This role partners closely with Finance, IT, and delivery teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions, apply user-centric design principles, and drive continuous process improvement.

This position suits a hands-on senior BA who can operate across strategy, delivery, and operational support in a structured enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage Finance and IT stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business needs
  • Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases
  • Apply design thinking and user-centric approaches to solution design
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital enablement
  • Facilitate requirement workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions
  • Analyse current-state processes and design optimised future-state workflows
  • Work closely with architects and development teams to support solution design and delivery
  • Support BAU operations, including incidents, enhancements, and change requests
  • Coordinate with application support / AMS teams to ensure delivery aligned with SLAs
  • Support testing activities, including test planning and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Required Experience:
  • 8–10+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst / Systems Analyst
  • Strong experience supporting finance systems and ERP platforms
  • Exposure to ERP solutions such as SAP, Oracle / PeopleSoft, Ariba, or similar enterprise systems
  • Experience working in large, complex IT environments
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Strong stakeholder management across business, IT, and vendor teams
