The Role:

Our client is an APAC focused market-leading real estate platform (growing AUM), with a focus on developing, constructing, managing, and investing.
 
This is a leadership, people manager role for the Singapore HQ office. You will report to the APAC CEO. An understanding and proven record of implementation of legislative requirements in APAC (including Japan, Australia, China, and Korea) would be an advantage.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Law, Bar Admission with at least 15-20 PQE,
  • M&A JV transactions, Real estate investment (fund structures), deal structuring, oversight of construction operational matters
  • Support investment management matters: Assist in formation of third party funds/LP, management agreements, review regulatory issues associated with creation of 3rd party funds
  • Experience leading cross border negotiations
  • Team fit: Commercially pragmatic with good logical judgement. Team player to work well in an agile, start up and collaborative environment
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and analytical skills

 
This is also a great role for a regional counsel/Deputy Head, keen to step up into a leadership role.
