Due to an increased demand for Tech support, our client has an immediate requirement for Technical Service Engineer to join their global hub in Singapore.
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will join the operations team that supports all users for the company on a global scale. 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring of the central and decentralised mainframe/network and client server systems etc
  • Detection, analysis, resolution, and documentation of all IT faults according in accordance with standards
  • Use of standard tools for incident, problem, request and change management Implementation of standardised change requests
  • Escalation of faults as specified to the respective on-call service or alternatively to the escalation manager
  • Fault response outside the service line's acceptance times
  • Adhere to standard operating timelines
To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate should possess:
  • Degree or diploma in computer science or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of unix commands
  • Knowledge of windows commands and infrastructure
  • Comfortable using windows OS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willing to work on a rotational shift basis, including night shifts
