Location: Burwood / WFH

Our NSW State Government client are looking for an IT Portfolio Master Scheduler / Schedule Practice Lead to  establish, lead and deliver the integrated scheduling of ICT projects and programs.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Driving Centre of Excellence (COE) schedule capability, to uplift with the project community stakeholders
  • Driving the development of schedule methodology through a purpose built framework, including; roadmap, minimum standards, categorisation, cadence, alignment with other project controls (risks / issues, cost management plan, etc)
  • Enacting the roadmap by working closely with project stakeholders
  • Supporting the Project and Program schedule setup and maintenance with processes and standards
  • Driving and uplifting schedule quality, through schedule maturity assessments (e.g. Acumen Fuse)
  • Driving dependency identification and management across Projects and Programs.
You Must Have:
  • Broad experience in Portfolio Master Scheduler Communities of Practice
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Scheduling within IT Projects
  • Extensive experience in project management support including a thorough understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies
  • Demonstrated strong experience in building strong collaborative relationships
  • Prior experience writing high-quality policies, guides / frameworks is ideal
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with a pragmatic view
