Job Description:

We are seeking an individual contributor to lead the data engineering solutions within Treasury which include building large-scale, highly available, high-performance distributed systems to advance the BI and analytics capabilities of business stakeholders. 

Job Requirements:
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or math program
  • Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Cloudera (CDH), Hortonworks (HDP), DataBricks, Spark, Delta, HDFS, HBase, Hive
  • Expert in building and optimizing data pipelines
  • Experience in managing large scale data warehouse / data lake in both on-prem and cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) with high availability and scalability
  • Experience in event streaming with Kafka
  • Experience programming in Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience working with several relational data solution such as SQL Server, Oracle PostgreSQL
  • Good working knowledge of Unix file system and shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience working with large scale Hadoop deployments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience operating under an agile work environment
