We are seeking a Data Architect to lead a new holistic data strategy and architecture, driving transformation of Treasury's big data environments into a highly valued business asset supporting the dynamic data science and analytics needs of the future.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or math program
- Experience in Big Data and Analytics Solution Architecture using on-prem technologies or the cloud
- Experience with Event-driven and Microservices Architecture
- Experience with Azure Data Services: Azure Storage, Azure SQL DB/DW, Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, HDInsight, Databricks, Azure Data Catalog, Cosmo DB, Azure DevOps, CI/CD
- Experience with Cloud data migration methodologies and processes
- Familiarity with data pipelines, data management, data ingestion, capture, processing and curation
- Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Kafka, StreamSets, Nifi
- Experience working with several relational data solution such as SQL Server, Oracle PostgreSQL
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience operating under an agile work environment
