A Banking Client is seeking a VP/SVP Banking Operations Excellence person join the team.
 
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will be responsible for operations excellence projects across the bank, including payment & treasury operations, trade finance, wholesale banking operations, private banking operations and more. They are looking for a generalist to cover all segments within the bank, front to back-office processes.
 
Part of the BAU work is to lead in strategy, process management, business performance. But the big part of the role will be for this person to assess the bank’s current situation, and to identify areas of improvements to ensure operations processes are in line with the bank’s standards and statutory regulations.
 
The client is seeking a candidate of seniority and strong leadership experience. Minimum 10 years relevant experience covering banking operations/projects/operations excellence. Someone who possesses a keen eye for identifying areas for improvement, familiar with banking operations/regulations. Strong communication skills, and project management skills will be a pre-requisite for the role. Please note that the role requires some travel.
