We are exclusively partnering with a global bank to recruit a VP for Infrastructure & Cloud Support. This is a regional role for covering their APAC operation.


Responsibilities:

As the VP of IT Infrastructure and Cloud Operations for you'll lead daily operations and ensure systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You'll develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and other teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of projects. You'll also provide technical support to team members and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud support, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrate strong knowledge of AWS, AZURE, and Microsoft 365 architecture, experience in managing global operations, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure, are essential. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect would be an advantage.

Additionally, you'll develop and implement processes to monitor and analyse cloud usage, identify potential security threats, and respond to incidents. You'll work with other teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure components, and participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
