The Role:
Our client is a leading payment company that provides end-to-end payment solutions and services, and has been growing rapidly in Hong Kong, mainland China and overseas in the last decade. Due to the recent business needs, they are looking to hire a corporate commercial lawyer with high caliber to join the group legal team.


In your new role, you will
  • Structure, review and negotiate commercial agreements in line with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide timely legal advice on a variety of general commercial and legal topics, including corporate compliance, data privacy, dispute resolutions and other regulatory issues
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures; provide legal training and support to different business teams
  • Assist in other operational and company secretarial matters
  • Establish and manage relationships with external legal advisors


Requirements:
  • Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 8-10 years PQE from reputable law firms or organisations
  • Prior in-house experience is preferred but not a must
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent team player, detail-minded person
  • Good command of both English and Chinese
