The Role:

Our client is a European Multinational and is seeking Legal Counsel to join their growing solar PV operations in Japan. The ideal candidate would be someone who possesses general corporate and commercial drafting experience. This is an exciting opportunity for career development sto join a brand-name organization. The firm has a good culture and excellent onboarding experience.


Requirements:

  • At least 6 PQE with experience of the jurisdictions of the Region and in the energy sector (with, ideally, part of this experience in a law firm).
  • Qualified in Japan
  • Experience required in project development and financing, renewables projects, JVs, M&A.
  • Be able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Ability to work well in team settings and to build relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
