Key responsibilities:
  • Provide advice on compliance and regulatory matters relevant to the businesses of the Company
  • Be part of a committee that oversees the Company's risk management policies and practices
  • Be main point of contact with local regulaters and auditors
  • Ensure timely submission of regulatory filings, including routine, Adhoc filings, and surveys
  • Monitor KYC client’s onboarding for completeness and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Maintain updates to compliance manuals to keep abreast with regulatory developments
  • Regular reporting to management on compliance matters
  • Performing training to staff as and when required
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of relevant compliance/ FCC/ audit/ controls experience in the financial services sector such as banking/securities/financial services or professional services firm. Big 4 profiles looking for work life balance are welcome to apply.
  • Understand and adhere to standards of honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, and maintain compliance independence.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore’s financial laws and regulations, such as MAS and/or SGX
  • Able to analyze and interpret findings for business insights and make recommendations.
  • Ability to multi-task, with good project management and execution skills, to manage project plans and meet tight deliverable timelines.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
