Job Title: Billings Officer

Location: Central, Hong Kong

Job Type: Full-time


An Multinational law firm based in Hong Kong is seeking a Billings Officer to join the team. As the Billings Officer, you will support the Senior Finance Manager on legal group billing and status, provide billing and related support.


Responsibilities:

  • Finance review for various billing requests (Intapp)
  • Liaise with Compliance Team for accessing restricted requests
  • Regular meetings with Legal team partners on WIP and Debtors status and follow-up on billing issues
  • Prepare invoices in Chinese version and submission of billing requests (Intapp)
  • Provide financial information as requested by marketing and development team and partners
  • Provide training to new joiners and log IT tickets for template invoice footer changes
  • Cover billing and finance team during their absence
  • Check daily cash receipt, liaise with HSBC, and provide cover on posting trust receipts and payments if necessary
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a financial or billing officer
  • Experience in a law firm will be advantageous
  • Accounting diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial transactions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent financial and mathematical skills
  • Reliability and strong work ethics
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a friendly and professional demeanor
