Our Client is a renewable energy development group offering services for wind and solar projects. Clear focus on development, operation and ownership of solar, wind energy projects. They are seeking to hire an experienced renewable and projects Head Legal to head up APAC Legal to support the business due to market expansion and promising outlook.
The Role
You will:
- Have at least 10-12 PQE, SG or Common law qualified with experience in the energy/renewables sector (with, ideally, part of this experience in an international law firm
- Experience drafting and negotiating development/M&A/project finance transactions specifically in renewable energy
- Drafting and negotiating JV, Partnerships, Shareholder Agreements, EPC, O&M, PPAs, NDAs, Procurement, Land Agreements, Development Services, Term Sheets etc. for renewable energy plants
- Experience in Project Financing, PPAs, Construction, Corporate Governance and Maintenance Contracts in energy, utilities in power sector is preferred
- Regional legal support for litigation or claim management in relation to projects
