Our client is a well known, reputable commodity trading firm who is looking to bring on a Trade Finance Executive! The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, has a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role and is highly analytical and self driven. The ideal candidate will also have excellent knowledge and experience with Trade Finance, especially Letters of Credit.
 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Handling finance related tasks including preparation of banking documentation for import / export letter of credit (L/C) and collection bills
  • Submit and manage the payments process, ensure all payments are checked, signed and submitted before their respective deadlines 
  • Responsible for the Vessel update report, AR report including reconciliation, chasing payments from customers
  • Daily report on New Invoice creation
  • Perform month-end bank reconciliations
  • Daily funds reporting: cash matching, responsible for AR module of finance
  • Ensuring invoice is maintained in the ERP system
  • Weekly costing report
  • Assist in team system and process development
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
