We are looking for a Test Lead to lead a small team of Senior Test Analysts for an upcoming project for the next 12 months.
The role will be hands on with the ability to work closely with the Program Test Manager and other internal stakeholders.

Responsibilties include:
  •  Creation of test plans and test cases to ensure effective coverage of testing for projects and smaller initiatives
  •  Work closely with the Business Analysts, Solutions Designers and stakeholders within the team as testing activities are in progress from planning to execution
  •  Develop, maintain and oversee the execution of a testing plan for projects including System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Non-functional testing (NFT), Production Verification Testing (PVT)
  •  Leading Test Data preparation activities, creation of test runsheets, test analysis or coverage and creation data sets
  •  Ensuring that traceability and overall testing best practice is maintained in accordance with the Overall Test Strategy
  •  Test execution through all phases of testing
  •  Experience with prioritised test cycle and regression planning for execution to ensure appropriate coverage in short time frames
  •  Defect raising through defect process and triage 
  •  Daily Status Reporting to management with test progress reports and the Test Summary Report at the completion of each test phase
  •  Communication and escalation of testing risks and issues to the Project Manager and/or Test manager
Knowledge and experience
  • 5 years strong testing experience in the Finance Industry, public markets preferred
  •  Able to test cycle execution plan and delegate out accordingly to testers
  •  Good communication skills, able to articulate key issues and blockers clearly and concisely
  •  Comprehensive understanding of overall software testing processes, methodologies and tools e.g., Jira, Confluence, Zephyr
  •  Demonstrated experience with system testing, Systems Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, functional and non-functional and regression test types
  •  Demonstrated experience with the design of test cases and test scenarios
  •  Experience in delivering high-quality testing approaches to ensure high-quality standards are maintained in released systems
  •  Experience with working in Agile & Waterfall projects
  •  Experience and ability to successfully liaise with third party vendors located in other locations
