We are looking for a number of Test Automation Engineers to join one of the country's leading Wealth Management and Superannuation organisations in Melbourne. Based in Hawthorne, the organisation is growing its team that has a real start-up, fast paced environment feel to it. The roles are for an initial 6 months with the likelihood of extension after the term.

Test Automation Engineers will be responsible for working across multiple projects and working closely with the delivery teams to ensure good Test Automation Principles are adhered to.
The role will involve helping the business set through their test automation strategy and also coaching and upskilling other Test Analysts

For these roles, they will initially begin working full time remotely, however there is an expectation to work in the office 1-2 days a week when it is safe to do so.

This role must be performed in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong Test Automation skills across applications.
  • Manage end-to-end testing, including writing test cases, performing internal testing across a range of environments and reporting back to business on the test results
  • Work with Agile teams and engage with different stakeholders such as 3rd party vendors and the internal Architects, Product Owners and Developers
  • Creation, ongoing maintenance, uplift and optimisation to test automation frameworks
  • Involvement in requirement analysis and requirement elaboration sessions.
  • Preparation of Requirement Traceability Matrix. Mapping requirements to corresponding test cases.
  • Document and take ownership of software defects. 
  • Coordinate and communicate with developers on bug fixes and required modifications.
  • Designed and performed Restful API testing (god to have)
  • Ability to coach and Test Analyst good Test Automation principles
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of Test Automation Engineering experience across multiple tools and
  • Selenium WebDriver exposure
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence or other software testing tools.
  • Extensive experience with QA Automation.
  • Work with developers to automate at GUI and API levels for the purposes of Continuous Improvement
  • Experience with Usability, Functional and Regression testing. 
  • Have a testing mind-set with a passion for quality and flexibility. 
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills. 
  • Ability to deliver quality documentation. 
  • A good understanding of agile 
  • Ability to coach and mentor Test Analysts
