Major Account Manager

Position Summary  
This is a strategic sales position requiring an in-depth knowledge of how technology is used to enable business goals or overcome business challenges. Position requires strategic thinking/planning coupled with tactical execution of identified business opportunities. Responsible for managing all facets of the relationship with large enterprise key accounts while ensuring revenue goals are being met.  
 
Responsibilities     
  • Understand the medium- to long-term business environment and industry trends of the accounts you are in charge of, and make proposals to contribute to the growth of the business. 
  • Develop strategic partnerships and build trust with customers, including CxO level and maintain detailed account profiles including organizational charts for all accounts to be reviewed by management on a quarterly basis  
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets through deal management and accurate sales forecasting 
  • In addition to deep-reaching sales to existing customers, develop new customers and create pipelines 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as system engineers, consultants, and support, as well as partner companies, to provide leadership in acquiring projects. 
  • Fully responsible for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process and ensure Salesforce is utilized appropriately and maintained on a regular basis  
 
Qualifications  

  • At least 8 years of Enterprise Account Manager experience in a relevant industry.  
  • Proven track record in a high growth company of medium size from the information technology/networking industry.  
  • Must be able to read and write English & fluent in Japanese
