We are looking for an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer to join a newly formed team for a client based in the Sydney CBD. This opportunity will see you act as a technical subject matter expert with the opportunity to explore the use of emerging technologies such as the Microsoft SharePoint Framework.
 
You will become a key member of the Global Project Excellence Products team where you will be responsible for building software products to transform the way in which we delivery development and construction projects through the use of products like chatbots and much more!   
 
Along with the rest of the team, you will also provide on-going support to existing SharePoint and other solutions across multiple digital platforms. 
 
Responsibilities Include: 
  • Design and deliver collaborative digital solutions via various enterprise platforms including SharePoint, Flow, PowerApps and other emerging Microsoft technologies. 
  • Gathering and documenting requirements from key customers across the organization and opportunities to facilitate requirement gathering workshops. 
  • Resolving application issues/bugs and identifying opportunities to improve performance and efficiencies of deployed solutions. 
  • Carry out advanced administrative tasks on existing solutions including application customisation, look ‘n’ feel updates and workflow process editing  
This role will suit a developer interested in utilising emerging development technologies along with applying their existing knowledge practically in a team environment.  
  • Experience developing with C# for .NET Framework;
  • Experience with the CSOM library for SharePoint Online;
  • Experience developing Modern SharePoint Web Parts and Apps;
  • Experience with one or more of React JS, Angular 2+, or similar;
  • A sound understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, modern web development techniques, and development quality concepts including unit testing, CI/CD, source control, and code reviews;
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server.
  • Ability to self-manage time according to defined priorities;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Fast learner taking on new concepts quickly; and
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals;

This is a hands-on role, where you will be supported to become a key member of the team.
