Responsibilities would include:
  • Independently review and complete loan documentation for draw down
  • Manage and implement the company’s key risk policies eg. Market risks, liquidity risks, counterparty risks
  • Manage risk management portfolio through monthly / quarterly risk updates including risk mitigating recommendation on credit exposures, charter markets and interest / FX markets without compromising business competitiveness
  • Actively track and monitor loan portfolio including information / financial / loan covenant requirement, and work with finance team to ensure timely compliance
  • Support the Group Treasurer in raising financing for the group and actively manage term sheet negotiations
  • Manage existing banking relationships and develop new banking relationships
  • Participate in strategic discussion or initiatives, including but not limited to simulation of financial impact and analysis of various interest rate / FX scenarios, facilitating business decision making
  • Support cash management discussion of the group

Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 7-10 years of experience ideally with exposure to credit analysis / risk management, loan structuring and documentation
  • Able to oversee loan documentation process independently, understand loan drawdown, have good knowledge in credit
  • Shipping / Transportation / Maritime sector exposure is advantageous
  • Excellent self-motivation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive tasks to completion, and achieve results
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills, with the capability to think strategically
  • Solid verbal and written communication ability
  • Meticulous, with keen attention to details, while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Driven, proactive, diligent, and strong work ethics
  • Positive influence with proven ability to lead, motivate, and empower the team
