The Role:

Our client is a highly funded FinTech company based in Hong Kong that focus on building a state-of-the-art trading platform. They have built an experienced team of exceptional engineers and are looking to grow their core development team to sustain the growing user base and ambitious 2023+ roadmap. In this position you will join as a Senior Software Engineer to actively participate in the overall application lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-quality, reusable code.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop backend systems for trading applications and related systems
  • Troubleshoot problems and collaborate with developers to resolve various challenging technical issues
  • Build and implement functional programs
  • Maintain code to ensure highly quality products
  • Contribute to the development of greenfield applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience working as a software engineer in various industries
  • Experience with Java, GoLang or JavaScript ecosystem is preferred but we have an open mind to different background and giving the platform to learn our stack
  • Understanding of CI/CD for building and deploying applications to the cloud
  • Experience with AWS or Azure (cloud architecture and container orchestration)
  • Proven communication skills
