Senior Commercial Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join a leading retail business based in Sydney. This market leader is at the forefront of the sector and is committed to innovation within the industry. Due to a recent acquisition there a number of initiatives and exciting projects to immerse yourself in.

The role will partner with sales, marketing and operations to provide commercial and strategic analysis designed to grow profitability. As such it requires excellent stakeholder engagement skills and strong commercial analysis. 


Duties

• Support the leadership team to drive business improvements through analysis of current processes

• Develop strong commercial analysis and ROI for new business opportunities

• Work with sales and marketing to analyse the effectiveness of promotional activity

• Proactively identify business opportunities and build business case to assess commercial viability

• Proactively highlight future performance concerns and opportunities for the business

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process

• Responding to ad hoc analysis requests from the business in order to ensure sound financial support of business decisions

Candidate Profile

• Qualified (CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA)

• Solid experience in a similar commercial finance role

• Proven track partnering at GM and C-suite level

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Advanced Excel skills
