Senior Business Analyst - Merchant/Payments

Our client is a financial services organisation with a focus to transform the way they deliver products, service offerings and innovation. Due to an exciting new program of work, we have an immediate opportunity for a permenant Senior Business Analyst with payments, merchant or/and product value chain (pricing) expertise to deliver enhancements that are anti-risk and compliance driven. 

The focus of the role is to support the end-to-end review of the customer product pricing and billing lifecycle. This includes working with key stakeholders across the business to develop business requirements and facilitating reviews. This is a hands-on opportunity which will allow you to obtain exposure across various elements of merchant processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the definition, elicitation, prioritisation and validation of requirements and design of business processes

• Defining and driving ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes 

• Managing the development of detailed Business Requirements, Business Process Specifications and/or System Functional / Non-Functional Specifications that will drive the change to business process, system enhancement / development activities

• Prepare business impact and risk assessments

Experience required for this role include:

• 5+ years as a E2E Business Analyst including process, ideally from a financial services or banking with strong product exposure 

• Diverse stakeholder management and engagement with risk, compliance and product teams

• Root cause and gap analysis

• Process mapping and modelling

• Experience in an Agile delivery environment

• Exposure to product value chains

• Regulatory and compliance exposure
