Our Sydney based financial Services client is an organisation with a focus to transform the way they deliver excellence and innovation. We are currently looking to engage a Senior Business Analyst with strong data risk and controls experience to undergo an initial 12-month fixed term engagement offering up to $165,000 package.

This exciting opportunity will see you responsible for designing and implementing effective data governance and examining complex data and turn it into insights to conduct business decisions. It is also responsible for implementing and uplifting data quality to support units across an enterprise environment.

You will be integral to helping its vision by playing a key role in the delivery of controls analysis for the business.  Your expertise will be in business, system, governance, and risk mitigating controls with some experience across complex regulatory driven programs.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Understand,  identify and document risk controls
  • Work with risk groups to deep dive into controls analysis, completeness, risk assessments and compliance
  • Agile delivery experience and senior stakeholder management including line1 risk teams
  • Project experience that may be from large governance, security, privacy management, data and technology, risk and regulatory projects 
Experience Required:
  • 5 years as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally in data management and governance environment for a top tier organisation
  • Strong understanding of risk management practises with regards to data risk, control assurance and
  • control design
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies and prudential standards
  • Experience concerning data quality dimensions and data controls.
