My Client is a global Bank and Financial Services Firm and we are looking for a Compliance professional to join the team in Singapore. This is a new headcount due to their expansion plans in Asia, and you will be the 1st Compliance officer in Singapore.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement and spearhead new Compliance framework within the business
  • Spearhead all licensing related matters in Singapore.
  • Identity Compliance gaps and implement framework to mitigate gaps and risks.
  • Ensure that policies are in line with Regulatory requirements and provide advisory to the business.
  • Any other adhoc Compliance duties across the Group level
  • Maintain and build a Compliance culture in the firm
 

You must:

  • A bachelors degree in a reputable university
  • 7 to 15 years of experience in a Compliance role – Strong regulatory compliance experience is a must
  • Experience in HK and SG regulations
  • Experience in licensing application for banks and financial institutions
  • Be able to work independently, while also being a strong team player
