Join a Tier 1 General Insurer in a technical Pricing Lead role overseeing the natural perils portfolio

  • Location: Sydney
  • Drive real change in this fast-paced role in this high performing team.
Role & Responsibility:
  • Build pricing capability in domestic property with catastrophe modelling or natural perils
  • Translate complex technical concepts to commercial insights and valuable business outcomes
  • Support on-going process improvement work of natural Perls risk while utilising technology
  • Support the Underwriting team to create controls of past catastrophe loss reviews
  • Guide and lead a team of Senior Analysts and Analysts
Requirements:
  • Tertiary education in Actuarial, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering
  • 3+ years of Pricing or Domestic Property with Catastrophe Modelling or Natural Perils
  • Excellent technical skills in SAS, R, Python or similar
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Some experience guiding and mentoring junior team members
