The Role:

My Client is a global financial institution seeking to hire a legal counsel to provide legal support to the Consumer and Private Banking business (this includes the retail banking and wealth products.) You will be responsible for the review and approval of products. You will be part of a collegial, established and well-regarded team advising on legal, regulatory and product matters.


You will have:

  • 6-7 years of PQE with prior experience in Banking or Banking litigation/exposure to regulatory matters
  • Possess knowledge of retail, wealth management and bancassurance products across a variety of asset classes (including deposits, Payments, Credit Cards and investment products)
  • Regulatory knowledge of securities and financial advisory regulation
  • Experience in understanding legal and regulatory risks for Wealth Management products across a variety of asset classes including securities, structured products, funds and insurance products
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
