  • Multiple roles open for a few leading corporate firms (Singapore based, permanent headcount)
  • Director/ MD/ Head level, 12-20 years of Renewable Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Sustainability relevant experience (Title will commensurate with experience)
  • Salary range as a rough guide: SGD 300-600k all in basis with VB, sign on, stocks etc
 
Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Global Head based in head office
  • Drive & lead origination, execution, analysis, evaluation and due diligence of renewable energy/ infrastructure/ power opportunities & projects across Asia Pacific
  • Develop and execute the full road map, power procurement, policy strategy and renewable energy strategy across APAC
  • Conduct evaluations of new opportunities to propose and sustain a pipeline of strategic energy sourcing investments
  • Responsible for originating, negotiating and executing power supply, retail and wholesale supply contracts to deliver low-cost renewable energy supply
  • Market research and financial analysis on industry peers, tracking developments and regulatory developments in the energy space across various geographies to provide insights
  • Review markets to identify cost savings opportunities, develop policies and guidelines
  • Managing energy projects against plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met, delivering against cost savings goals.
  • Work closely with all internal/ external stakeholders i.e utility regulators, senior level / c -suite level to formulate and execute business plans
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Mandatory: Minimum 12-20years of relevant experience in Asia Pacific energy / renewable energy, infrastructure, clean energy, power or sustainability sectors
  • Title will be given based on experience – Generally looking for Directors, MDs, Heads, APAC Leads etc
  • Function experience: Investments, Fundraising, Project financing, PPA negotiations, M&A, Corporate Development, Strategic Investments, Investment Banking, Advisory, Corporate Finance
  • Result orientated, analytical skill set, strong financial acumen
  • Good track record of working with utilities, regulators and developers globally across the energy industry.
  • Ability to engage with various stakeholders
  • Self -motivated, driven and resourceful
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and client management skills
  • Team player
