Our Client is an up and coming Fintech with a clear focus on supply chain finance, offering a tech enabled platform for accounts payable and accounts receivable management solutions. USPs include AI, machine learning and blockchain. They are hiring a strong commercial and banking lawyer with trade and supply chain finance knowledge as Head Legal. You would ideally have experience handling a wide range of legal matters and are comfortable advising senior management on complex, multi-jurisdictional legal matters.  


The Role

You will:
  • Min 8 years of PQE with relevant experience attained in the Fintech space; experience in trade and supply chain finance
  • Overall responsibility for legal matters, policies, standards and guidelines
  • Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, NDAs, MOUs, software development, SaaS, licensing transactions and data privacy/protection
  • Drafting and negotiating various legal documentation, advising on product structuring, partnership arrangements, regulatory matters and the provision of corporate secretarial services.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws- international sanctions, AML, ABC and fraud
  • Desire to work in a startup environment
