Head of IT Corporate Strategy & Planning
 
Responsibility
  • Leading a team of 30 pax of corporate planning including Finance, Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Align with Director and staff, manage meeting cadences (Staff, Planning, Initiatives, Face-to-Face meetings) including guiding the scheduling of events, building out details of agendas, and tracking of key action items. Ensure meeting effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Oversee business performance review process to ensure key objectives, goals and KPI are met; corrective actions developed and followed through.
  • Provides support for reviews at Director and VP level. Partners with key stakeholders and other strategic planners to assemble information requests.
  • Drive strategic business planning and cross functional long-term department initiatives. Lead strategic business planning discussions to define mid/long term strategy/roadmap that is aligned to business directions.
  • Lead short/long term operational planning process including investment portfolio, budget management, resources utilization and risk assessment.
  • Manages the business unit’s financial and budgeting responsibilities. Monitoring budgets and quarterly close to ensure budgets are met.
  • Develop and curate strategic planning documents.
  • Develop clear, succinct and compelling content for executive-level presentations and communications.
  • Champion transformation/change initiatives. Rally the cause and change in organization behaviors and execution norm. Develop metrices to measure effectiveness, ensure regular evaluations and reviews, drive to completion.
  • Other projects and program assignment depending on the specific skills, strengths, interests and background of the successful candidate.
Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or MS in related discipline preferred.
  • 12-15 years of experience in a diverse range of technology business functions
  • In a technology environment experience will be highly preferred
  • Proven track record of program leadership across multiple areas (either technical and/or business).
  • Strong work ethic, passion, and a positive, can-do attitude. Tenacity and perseverance in approaches; works through obstacles in a determined manner.
  • Skills to collaborate with and achieve results, the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, and the capability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven program/project management skills in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment. Organized, structured, yet flexible. Ability to simplify. Attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
  • Ability to juggle many competing priorities, handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously mixing demands of long-term projects with immediate operational urgency.
